Growth Happens as Seasons Change

The flowers are starting to bloom around my house. I haven’t paid much attention to them, but while pulling in my driveway I couldn’t help but notice.

The new buds, some had started to open, some remained closed, but as time passes they’ll open and join the others to paint the most beautiful picture of life and growth. 🤍

I was reminded that seasons change.

New life and new growth come with time, yes, but it also comes from the environment changing.

Winter has passed and the sun is shining, which offers a welcoming environment for things to begin fresh and new.

The blooms that formed last year will have a different form, location, and maybe even design. It might not look the way it once did but that doesn’t mean change is bad. Change is inevitable. But, with change we can choose to look at what once was, or to look at the beauty of what will come out of it.

So, it’s okay to REMEMBER the moments of pain and heartache, but do not RELIVE them.

For everything there is a season. Everything that one season brings leads into the next season, and so on.

But even as the seasons change, the source that controls those seasons stays the same. 🙌🏻

Remember where you came from, and never lose sight of what’s to come! It all works together and paints the most beautiful picture of life and growth. We mourn because things change, but we also rejoice because things change ❤️ it all holds beauty when seen through the eyes of hope!

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace."
