“Oh ye, of little faith!”

Do you ever find yourself ashamed of your lack of faith??

Ouch, that hurts to say when you finally realize what you’ve been doing.

I know God is able.

I’ve seen Him work in areas of my life that once seemed hopeless and as a lost cause.

I’ve watched Him bring me from paralyzed to prospering… wow.

I’ve seen Him work in areas of others’ lives that no one saw possible.

So admitting there have been areas of my life where I thought my prayers wouldn’t be answered… how dare I??

For some this paralysis is physical, some it’s mental and spiritual, and others it can become all three at once.

That was me, and truthfully, is still me some days.

My inability to walk two years ago left me blind to seeing His strength being lived out through my healing process.

My inability to trust in the past two years has left me blind to seeing His unwavering love and protection at times.

My inability to rest in the past two years has left me blind to seeing His strong arms of reassurance wrapped around me.

Why do we doubt His control in some areas when we’ve seen Him work in others? If He’s divine, sovereign and almighty why would He not make Himself visible to us in more ways than one? He doesn’t have to, but He does from the big things to the most simple.

Can I be one today to tell you to not give up on your requests?? From those that seem essential in your mind to those that are more desirable… don’t stop asking. Those requests might just be answered in ways you never saw coming.

And let’s not forget, it could be that His answer of “no” or “be patient” is what we actually need instead of that which we think we need.

It’s time we as Christians start taking His word for what it is… a promise. His ways are higher than mine and for that I’m so very thankful 💛

Psalms 9:10

“And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:

for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.”
